Clair swims, and then hauls herself up onto shore and lets Palisade take over, and Palisade flies back to the library to tell the tiny blue unicorn "thank you".

The tiny blue unicorn has tidied away most of the research and is reading the rest of the artifacts book. She looks up and waves a hoof when the griffin returns. "Hello! Did you have fun flying?"

Emmy takes over for just a moment - then stays, because it turns out that the tiny blue unicorn isn't scary, and she is the only other person around. And this materializes her hoodie with its pocket and she pulls out a comb.

And then she combs combs combs at the air, revealing a portal to not-here.

"Thank you," she says softly, smiling, and then she hops through.
