Bella slips into the school by a side door; she just saw a thing and she thinks she's seen it in a book before and thinks it's supposed to be mostly harmless but before she wakes Giles up over probably nothing or kills a likely neutral demon she wants to check.

And she pushes into the library.

Shrug. "You can drop us off at the butcher's. Sometime soon we'll want to be driven to an airport but that's not a project for tonight, I don't think."

"Yeah, I don't think I can stay awake long enough to get you all the way there."

[unmarred]

"Tomorrow, then, or later."

[cross_and_bow]

"Sure."

And Charlie shows up and goes in with Bella to arrest the fellow with Giles tied to a chair.

Giles is so happy to see them!

[cross_and_bow]

Bella is so happy he was not complicit!

[jellyinthemix]

[cross_and_bow]

"D'you mind sharing a vehicle with a coupla vampires, I said I'd give them a ride to the butcher shop but you probably need a lift too."

[jellyinthemix]

"...Excuse me?"

[cross_and_bow]

"The vampire who was locked in the house with me turns out to be Ray Gun Vampire's twin brother and they are both waiting outside."

"Starting a collection, are we?"

[cross_and_bow]

"Vampiring weirdly must run in the family."

[jellyinthemix]

"Bella Swan's Home for Reformed Vampires," he snorts. "Well, it won't be the worst company I've enjoyed today."

So out they go. "Giles, Miles, Mark."

[jellyinthemix]

"Hello."

[thisvorlunatic]

"Hi," says Miles.

[cross_and_bow]

"Let's get outta this crime scene." She hops in the driver's seat. Giles's place is closer; he gets dropped off first.

"Good night, everyone," he yawns on his way out of the car.

[cross_and_bow]

"Night, Giles." And she drives to the butcher shop.

[unmarred]

Where the vampires hop out of her car and Mark says, "See you tomorrow."

[cross_and_bow]

"...So, I should come back here tomorrow after school to drive you to the airport?" she guesses.

[unmarred]

"Ideally. We won't be too badly inconvenienced if you need to delay."

[cross_and_bow]

"I'm not booked, I'll bump you if an apocalypse rears its head or something. See ya."

[unmarred]

"See you."

[cross_and_bow]

And off she goes, and she sleeps like a rock and misses her first two classes but is there the following sunset.
